In a report published on its website, the Swedish commercial vehicle manufacturer Volvo Group has reported higher than expected fourth quarter and annual sales revenue and profit for 2023, ahead of market expectations.

Commercial vehicle manufacturer MAN Truck & Bus saw strong sales growth in all its business areas last year, partly due to the base effect caused by earlier disruptions in the supply chain. And sales of long-distance buses had previously been hit by the effects of the pandemic.

A new truck terminal has been opened in the port of Koper, Slovenia. The new facility, co-financed by the European Union, is an important milestone in the development of the port and its logistics, said Nevenka Krzan, head of the port operator Luka Koper, at the inauguration ceremony.
